School Facilities

The school is equipped with modern audio-visual equipment, iPads, laptops, internet access, curriculum network and Interactive Whiteboards in all classrooms. All members of the teaching staff have access to notebook computers and wireless networking to the school curriculum server.

Our school consists of four buildings. One building houses the Performing Arts area, Art Room, Multi Purpose Room, Canteen (which is open 5 days per week), Staff Room and Administration area. As part of the BER Program we have had a new building constructed which caters for 6 classes and an open Library/ICT area. The children love the open space and the new classrooms. The three other buildings house 16 classrooms and a small room currently dedicated to the Reading Recovery Program.

School grounds continue to be developed enabling students to spend quality time during lunch and recess breaks. These include a landscaped area at the front of the school where children can sit, relax and play in a quiet area where ball games are banned. Vegetable gardens with a compost area have been developed and these are managed by our school-based gardener. A sensory garden is another area for the children to explore. All are encompassed within a three metre high perimeter fence. The school grounds have continued to be developed since the building upgrade of 2001 and this will continue into the future.
