General Information


Money Days Monday - Wednesday - Friday
 Any money for excursions, fundraisers, etc may be sent to school in an envelope on these days.
Early Leavers Please provide a note or explain in person to the teacher.
 This will be sent to the office for approval.
 Come to the office and sign your child/ren out in the Early Leavers book.
Late Arrivers  Need to call at the office before going to class with a note from home.
 Names will be recorded in the “Late Arrivers Book”.
 Children with repeated unexplained lateness will have a letter sent home to parents asking for an explanation.
 Children should be in their classroom ready to start school by 9 a.m.
Head Injury Letter A letter will be sent home with your child informing you of the injury and what symptoms to look for.
Book Club  Usually sent once a term. Money and order to be returned to school in a sealed named envelope.
Education Maintenance Allowance – EMA For parents on a Health Care Benefits Card.
 May be claimed twice a year - February and July from school office.
 Please watch the school newsletter for when to claim.
Medication  Dispensed from office.
 Written explanation of dosage is required.
Do not allow your child to have medication in their bag - except asthma puffers.
Spare Clothes A change of clothes needs to be kept at school in case your child gets wet or has an accident.
Assembly A whole school assembly is held on Monday mornings, starting at 9.00am.
End of Term Dismissal Term 1, 2 & 3 – 2.30pm
 Term 4 – 1.30pm
School Bank Day Every Tuesday – Bendigo Community Bank - Laverton.
Uniform Shop Wednesday 9.00 – 9.30am

School Council Meets at 7.00 in the staffroom on the second Tuesday of each month.
